Agent API reference

The agent surface is workspace-bound and deliberately bounded. Authenticate every request with a short-lived workspace token and the agent identity header used by the approvals contract.

Connection info

BASEsame originUse the adapter origin shown in your module URL.

AUTHX-Workspace-Access-TokenSigned workspace token. The workspace is never taken from a caller header.

IDENTITYX-Agent-IdAgent identity fallback when the signed token does not carry agent_id.

REST endpoints

GET/api/agent/podsList MAIN and actively assigned private pods.

GET/api/agent/pods/{pod_id}/statusRead one accessible pod.

POST/api/agent/pods/{pod_id}/execBounded non-PTY command execution.

POST/api/agent/pods/{pod_id}/importImport a workspace file into a pod path.

POST/api/agent/pods/{pod_id}/exportExport a pod file to workspace Files.

Capability note: live PTY remains disabled. Human pod detail views may additionally expose Resources, Background processes, and Share when the adapter advertises those capabilities.

MCP tools

The streamable HTTP MCP surface mirrors the REST contract and exposes only these tools:

MCPlist_accessibleList the agent's accessible pods.

MCPstatusRead a pod status.

MCPexecRun bounded argv.

MCPimportMove a Files artifact into a pod.

MCPexportMove a pod artifact into Files.

Quick reference

Replace the placeholders in your runtime. Workspace IDs may appear here because this is API documentation, not a product identity field.
